Beautiful edition of The Sound and The Fury by William Faulkner. 1979 Franklin Library. Leather-bound book with hand-sewn pages (not glued). Printed on archival paper. 22 karat gold lettering and gilding. Blue silk page marker. Based on a copy of the 1st printing from 1929. Dimensions: 8 1/2" long by 6 1/2" wide by 1 1/2" deep. 362 printed pages. Excellent vintage condition with clean unmarked pages. The only defect I can see is some blue transfer on a few of the pages from the silk ribbon. Based on how the pages turned, it doesn't even appear that the book has been read before.
