Beautiful and rare matching pair of vintage 1950s Cordey China porcelain vases. Tones of antique white and beige with Capodimonte style flowers and gold details. A little history about Cordey China - The company was founded in New Jersey in 1942 by Polish painter Boleslaw Cybis. Boleslaw Cybis immigrated to the US to paint murals for the World's Fair in New York. The company made decorated porcelain coffee sets, dishes, vases, sculptures, and lamps. These dainty vases are an excellent example of Cordey China. One of the vases still has the original Cordey label attached and both vases are initialed on the underside.
