Opening from the top, this cabinet features a metal "non-slip removable compressor" designed to keep files securely in place. The top can be easily removed from the base, as shown in the pictures. The original hardware and casters are intact, adding to its authenticity and charm.

This old piece, much loved throughout its history, exhibits its story through time. Despite its age, it remains completely functional, with the filing apparatus moving smoothly from side to side. Measuring 31" high by 19 3/4" wide by 13 3/4" deep, it offers ample storage space for your files or serves as a unique accent table or stand.

For its age, this file cabinet is in good condition, displaying obvious wear and signs of use that add to its character. The black paint on the iron handles is flaking, and the casters show wear, with one falling out when the cabinet is picked up, but easily put back into place. The side of the base proudly bears the marking, "The Wabash Cabinet Co. - Wabash, Indiana."
